While controvercial, in some ways its both considerate and reveals his far ranging thinking to transition smoothly into the next stage of his career. A program on HBOs Inside the NFL revealed that Tiki had actually been planing such a transition for many years. A good role model amongst so many other athletes who have self destructed and suffered against the accolades of fleeting fame; Tiki leveraged it by using time as an ally.

Last but not least: Steele and Razr discussed the 'Top Ten' Opinion Takers of all time! This was a really, really funny segment, as we revealed the many inherent holes in the system touted by leading, self-proclaimed 'PUAs' (pickup artists)

Steele loves to discuss things at a deeper level, and gave men insights on how to best prepare for date - to visualize the events unfold, how to respond to things that come up, conversation topics to have at the ready, and how to escalate the evening to ensure romance is always there, but not overly so.

Apparel: Addressed the importance of fall apparel, looking great as the weather cools off and still look prepped for the sudden weather changes.

- An ideal 'non-date date' Razr had with a gal when he took her out to a rock poster festival Saturday. What made the event so terrific were really five reasons Razr later considered:

1. he was doing this thing - asked a girl to 'join him' (opposed to getting together solely for the purpose of meeting up)

2. flattering to her - he chose to ask a girl who he knew would really enjoy such an event - an artist who also enjoys rock music. Very flattering to be considered on a soul to soul level

3. the event is the thing - conversation revolving around an event has you living in the present - not talking about 'where things are going with us,' 'taking things to the next level,' blah blah blah. More about enjoying each other's company at this unique, quirky event.

4. dials up a sense of adventure

5. testing her - how can she handle an offbeat event like this?

Review: Sting's new release 'Songs from the Labyrnth' - Sting discovered early music from over 500 years ago and brings it to life in this terrific new release.

Also took some wonderful calls, and addressed how to segue relationships with women after youre dating.

Seems to want to address the subject matter (the destructive nature of pornography to both producers and consumers) seriously, however the graphic novel format and scripted treatment simply don't accomplish this. Both principals are fans of Neil Strauss' previous work, but this recent release feels duplicitous and poorly developed.

What appeals to men at a gut level is often different than to women. It's a mistake to get feedback from your fellow man about 'what works' with women; often times the reality is very different.

Rejection: How to overcome it, how to 'trick your psyche' by putting on a persona during the early stages of an interaction to protect one's vulnerable side.

CD Review: Sean Lennon's latest release, "Friendly Fire,' is simply terrific. Lead song 'Dead Meat' is innovative musically and lyrically. Worthy of your purchase and listen.

Man of the Week: Dallas Cowboys Head Coach Bill Parcels. We both admired his dignity, grace and tact in his handling of serious, unique personnel matters impacting his team over the last two weeks, and worthy of recognition.

The difference between masters and newbies.

Some of us have heard dating "gurus" give advice on dating. You will notice that the seasoned gurus have a very clear and honest way of speaking. You feel like you're listening to a friend describe a passion. But novices and guys who are still in the "technique" stage, sound like computer repair men. They might be successful BUT they are confusing what actually works with their analysis of what they think works. They haven't yet cut the "fat" out and boiled their game down to the essence - which is what mastery level is about.

Masters speak simply and clearly, and even a bit philosophically. You learn more from them because they teach you where you have to end up, therefore cutting down on your learning time. Newer guys speak abstractly and sometimes in a robotic fashion. They get wound up by the tactics that did this or did that (presumably). Learn from them and you will take the long way to learning, in fact you will be learning alongside them, including learning from their mistakes.

There's hundreds of guys teaching tactics. What you want to do is find the few successful guys that are not, and learn from them.

Stop Entertaining Women.

If you are a musician there is no need to play your instrument for her, to keep her interested. She saw you on stage, saw you perform, and if she likes you there is no need to do anything more.

If you are a writer of poetry and she likes your work, you don't have to recite poetry for her on the date to impress her with your language skills. Just be your normal self. The part of you that she likes is the part of you that does your own thing, which has nothing to do with her.

If you write a personal ad which is very witty and hooks her attention, there is no reason to try and be witty when talking to her. If she expects that from you then either you set the wrong precedent or she has the wrong idea about how things work.

You are not there to entertain her. I repeat, you are not there to entertain her. And if she leaves it's because you stopped entertaining (meaning you set the wrong precedent) or she had the wrong idea from the beginning.

Whatever you are, and whatever you put on "display" which shows your abilities, is not for her sake. Be great when doing your own thing, but act normal around her.

the only pickup lines that will never get busted

There's a saying, a tactic known is a tactic blown. Tactics are generally meant to come off as original and a way to stand out from the herd. But there's a problem with that. They lose power if used by too many people.

The only way to avoid this is to learn to be real and genuine in your interactions. Let's say you approach a group of women with the opener, "hi, how are you all doing?". They would never say, "we heard that from another guy". The same goes with, "so what are your plans later?". And furthermore, if you make small talk and then move on to talk to another group of people, you would never hear them say, "that guy talked to us and now he went to talk to some other people. He's acting like the cool social guy - I'm not falling for that."

Think about that. Any "tactic" used, in order to always work, has to come from a genuine place. That's the only mindset that will save you as you get increasingly bogged down by tactics. And who cares if other people are doing the same thing. The last thing you want to do is set a precedent where you're trying to impress - in that case you better be able to keep it going, and have more game than your competition. And if you screw up once you're out!

The best tactics are the ones that don't come across as tactics, and they have to be simple and straightforward. "So tell me something about you...I notice xyz about you", can work great. The tactic is: socialize and meet people - which is not really a tactic at all!

Be genuine and don't try to impress. This is not easy to master but it is simple to understand. Start doing this and you'll have a head start.

Don't let your guard down, don't get distracted, don't stand around with your thumb up your ass waiting for something to happen, and just go for it when you see a woman that you are attracted to.

Make your moves and take advantage of every single opportunity you see to meet a woman. Keep your eyes roving like radar to lock in on another woman's eyes who shows interest in you. If you lock eyes and she gives you a smile, that's your cue to approach her immediately and don't even give it a second thought to stall or ponder.

Don't Stick Your Foot in Your Mouth When Dating Single Women

This week I want to give you a tip to help you avoid sticking your foot in your mouth when on a date:

Let's say you're out on a date and she asks you what kind of a woman you're attracted to. You have to be careful about what you say. Here are a couple of examples of what not to say:

1. Let's just say that you say that you really love brunettes and redheads. She happens to be a blonde. Guess how this is going to make her feel? Do you get my point?

2. Let's just say you say that you are extremely attracted to tall single women. She just happens to be very petite and only 5 feet tall. How do you think is going to make her feel? You just stuck your foot in your mouth.

To be on the safe side, I would just say that I'm attracted to _________________(describe her features).

Or you could just say that you are attracted to blondes, brunettes, redheads, and black-headed women. And you could say you really love short, tall women, and all women in between. These statements will cover all your bases.

LastCall.name: Have We Learned Nothing from Rather?Wow. Reading about the follow up to Star Jones' departure announcement on 'The View' yesterday - I'm really surprised.

Given that this appears to have been in the works for several months, I tend to believe Barbara Walters' statements that they were giving Jones an opportunity for a gracious exit.
